In Santa Monica, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across California vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 am–4 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Westway Auto Body & Paint Shop at (310) 828-0151; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

With 4.0 out of 5 on Google from 15 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for auto repair shops in Santa Monica. Recent reviews are the best guide.

Santa Monica is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Santa Monica follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Had an amazing experience here. Let’s face it, needing an auto body shop is not fun. Westway was highly recommended by my mechanic (Santa Monica Motors, also awesome) who is fair & trustworthy, so was looking for the same after my car rear ended. The owner Jerry was so helpful & Carlos, the key go-to guy was awesome. They have the contract with the city of Santa Monica which speaks volumes about their reputation & reliability. Great service, my car was done in a week & looks fantastic, they even washed it. Highly professional organization, great service, work & priced fairly. Let’s face it, you hope you never need auto body work but when you do, it’s a comfort to know you can trust someone to do a great job, navigate the logistics without hassles. They also have an arrangement with Enterprise & within 10 minutes of dropping off my car to the shop, I was picked up & in a rental within 30 minutes. Seamless. I strongly recommend them.

Awful experience. My car got hit parked on the street. I came in for a repair quote and was told “ We don’t write estimates, we fix cars!” Talk about sleazy. Never again.

Service is amazing here Jerry was very nice and helped my wife and I with everything. Her 07 350z looks like brand new and my 21 2 door Wrangler looks absolutely beautiful with her new steel bumpers. I can't recommend their services enough.

If I could rate them with minus 5 stars I would do it. They don't now how to deal with customers carlos the guy who supposed to give the estimate told to take my vehicle to another body shop after I asked why you asking for too much of information Just look Down on his reply to see the meaning of Low level business, now they suggest that I'm Shady. Well the shady is the one who don't tell customers what they do and what are their process and just give papers to customers to sign them and when they asked what it's all about they just ask them to leave. Definitely, they aren’t professional, nor they polite. JUST LOOK HOW MANY NEGATIVE RATINGS THEY GOT.
